De Ford Puma Rally1 met startnummer 55 nam in 2025 deel aan de iconische Safari Rally in Kenia, een van de zwaarste en meest legendarische evenementen op de WRC-kalender. Deze uitvoering werd bestuurd door de Ierse coureur Josh McErlean, met Erin Treacy als copiloot. Het team verscheen aan de start onder de vlag van M-Sport Ford, dat bekendstaat om zijn jarenlange inzet binnen het wereldkampioenschap rally.
De wagen beschikt over een geavanceerde hybride aandrijflijn die een 1.6 liter EcoBoost turbomotor combineert met een elektrische boost van 100 kW.
