Tijdens de Belgische Grand Prix van 1992 verscheen de Footwork FA13 met startnummer 10 aan de start op het circuit van Spa-Francorchamps. Deze auto werd bestuurd door Aguri Suzuki, die dat seizoen samen met Michele Alboreto het rijdersduo vormde voor het Footwork-team. Spa stond dat jaar opnieuw garant voor een race onder typische Ardenner omstandigheden: koel, vochtig en onvoorspelbaar. De FA13 kende een moeizaam weekend, waarin Suzuki zich slechts als 25e kwalificeerde.

De FA13 werd aangedreven door een 3,5-liter Mugen-Honda V10-motor, gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde zesversnellingsbak. Het chassis bestond uit een koolstofvezel monocoque, met een eenvoudige maar degelijke aerodynamische opbouw. Aan zowel de voor- als achterzijde werd gebruikgemaakt van pushrod-ophanging. De wagen stond op Goodyear-rubber, met beperkte mechanische grip in de langzame bochten van Spa. Door het gebrek aan doorontwikkeling bleef het potentieel van de motor grotendeels onbenut.

Footwork Express en Mugen vormden de belangrijkste sponsoren, met opvallende branding op de sidepods en voorvleugel. Ondanks het gebrek aan snelheid slaagde Suzuki erin de openingsfase van de race zonder incidenten door te komen. De FA13 bleek echter opnieuw kwetsbaar: na 19 ronden moest de Japanner de strijd staken vanwege versnellingsbakproblemen. Het team wist dat seizoen slechts incidenteel de finish te bereiken, met vooral Alboreto die het merendeel van de punten binnenhaalde.

De cockpit is realistisch uitgevoerd, maar helaas zonder coureur. De handgebouwde resinreeks verschijnt in beperkte oplage en wordt verwacht in het vierde kwartaal van 2025.
