De Porsche 911 GT3 Cup met startnummer 46 bezorgde Robert de Haan in 2025 de titel in de Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland. Het kampioenschap werd beslist tijdens de seizoensfinale op Hockenheim, waar de Haan met Proton Huber Competition zijn zesde zege van het jaar pakte. In het eindklassement kwam hij uit op 269 punten, vóór Alessandro Ghiretti met 262 punten.
De 911 GT3 Cup waarmee #46 werd gereden is de type 992-Cupauto. De aandrijving bestaat uit een 3.996 cc watergekoelde zescilinder boxer (atmosferisch), met een maximumvermogen van 375 kW (510 pk) bij 8.400 tpm en een maximumtoerental van 8.750 tpm. Het pakket is gebouwd rond constante rondetijden, voorspelbare balans en een hoge mate van herhaalbaarheid over een heel weekend.
In de titelstrijd van 2025 draaide het daardoor niet alleen om pure snelheid, maar om het beperken van fouten en het maximaliseren van punten op circuits met verschillende karakteristieken. De Haan kwam de finale in met minimale marge, en de beslissing viel pas in de laatste ronde van het laatste seizoenstreffen, wat de druk op startnummer 46 extra zichtbaar maakte. De combinatie van kwalificatiepositie, starts en het vermijden van tijdverlies in verkeer bepaalde uiteindelijk wie de titel kreeg.
Met #46 werd 2025 daarmee een seizoen waarin de 911 GT3 Cup liet zien hoe een one-make concept toch een scherp kampioenschap kan opleveren: gelijk materiaal, maar grote verschillen in uitvoering. De titel werd niet beslist door één dominante race, maar door een reeks weekenden waarin de auto consequent werd benut binnen de kleine marges van sprintwedstrijden.
