De #31 BMW M4 GT3 EVO van Team WRT, met Dries Vanthoor, Sheldon van der Linde en Marco Wittmann, startte de Ravenol Spa 24 Hours 2025 vanaf de voorste regionen na een P3 in de Superpole. In het verloop van de race bleef de auto constant in de kopgroep, met foutloze stints en strak uitgevoerde pitstops die de #31 in de top-tien hielden tot diep in de zondagochtend.
De BMW M4 GT3 EVO is uitgerust met de P58 3,0-liter zescilinder lijnmotor met twin-turbo, achterwielaandrijving en een sequentiële X-Trac 6-versnellingsbak, conform GT3-reglement. De afstelling leverde een gelijkmatig tempo en beheerste bandenspreiding op. BMW M Motorsport en Weerts Group behoren tot de vaste partners van Team WRT, zichtbaar op de auto en in de teamoperatie.
Na 24 uur kwam de #31 als achtste algemeen over de streep, op 548 ronden. Daarmee sloot de tweede WRT-BMW in de Pro Cup de etmaalrace af net achter de zusterauto #32 en binnen één ronde van de winnaars. Het optreden onderstreepte de degelijkheid van de EVO-specificatie én de efficiënte uitvoering door rijders en team.
