De Alfa Romeo GTV6 #47 van het Van Hove Mobil Smet Jet-team verscheen in de Spa 24 Uur van 1982 met Raymond van Hove, Dany Snobeck en Didier van Mieghem achter het stuur. In kwalificatie noteerde het trio de 16e tijd: 2 min 57,780 sec.
De #47 startte in divisie 2 binnen een sterk deelnemersveld. Ondanks hun inzet en een degelijke klassering in de kwalificatie, eindigde de race voor hen voortijdig: vermelding “accident” en geen klassering in de officiële uitslag.
Raymond van Hove en Dany Snobeck brachten ervaring mee uit respectievelijk ETCC en Formule 2/rally. Didier van Mieghem was actief in Belgische toerwagenkampioenschappen. Samen vertegenwoordigden ze het team als Belgisch Alfa Romeo-formatie.
