De Las Vegas Grand Prix van 2025 (Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025) werd op 22 november verreden als nachtwedstrijd op het Las Vegas Strip Circuit in Paradise, Nevada, over 50 ronden. Startnummer 55 was Carlos Sainz, in 2025 nieuw bij Atlassian Williams Racing. In een kwalificatie die door regen werd beïnvloed, reed hij 1:48.296 en startte als derde, achter Lando Norris en Max Verstappen.
De Williams beschikte dat seizoen over een Mercedes-aangedreven F1-krachtbron: een 1,6-liter V6 turbomotor met hybride systemen voor energieterugwinning. Op het stratencircuit draaide het om snelheid op The Strip, maar ook om stabiel remmen en bandenbeheer, omdat de grip en temperatuur per stint konden wisselen. De race zelf werd onder heldere omstandigheden gereden, waardoor de afstelling vooral moest kloppen voor een lange, gecontroleerde run.
Voorin nam Verstappen vroeg de leiding over en hield hij het tempo hoog, terwijl het veld door verkeer en korte neutralisaties geregeld opnieuw werd samengebracht. Sainz bleef in de kopgroep en werd na 50 ronden als vijfde geklasseerd in 1:21:43.353, op 34.924 seconden van de winnaar. George Russell en Kimi Antonelli brachten Mercedes als tweede en derde binnen, terwijl Charles Leclerc vierde werd. Voor Williams leverde P5 tien punten op, op een baan waar een kleine fout meteen doorslaat in groot tijdverlies.
De uitslag werd na afloop nog belangrijker toen beide McLaren-wagens uit de uitslag werden gehaald wegens te grote slijtage van de skid block. Daardoor werd de eindstand definitief en bleef Sainz stevig in de top vijf, met een resultaat dat vooral tot stand kwam door constante ronden en het vermijden van tijdverlies bij verkeer, pitmomenten en herstarts. Voor Williams was het een zeldzaam weekend waarin de auto zowel over één ronde als in de race puntenwaardig was.
