De Williams met startnummer 0 reed de Belgische Grand Prix 1993 op 29-08-1993 op Spa-Francorchamps met Damon Hill achter het stuur. Hill kwalificeerde als tweede achter zijn teamgenoot Alain Prost, maar won de race na 44 ronden. De finish volgde met Michael Schumacher als tweede op 3,668 seconden en Prost als derde op 14,988 seconden. Door de 1-3 uitslag stelde Williams-Renault in België ook de constructeurstitel veilig.
De auto was de Williams FW15C met de Renault RS5 3,5-liter V10. In 1993 was het concept sterk afhankelijk van elektronica en chassiscontrole, met een pakket dat gericht was op stabiele wegligging, tractie en bandenspreiding over een raceafstand. Op Spa betekende dat vooral snelheid door snelle bochtencombinaties en vertrouwen bij het aanremmen, zonder de achterbanden te overbelasten in de lange doordraaiers.
In de race leidde Prost het eerste deel, maar een trage pitstop gooide de volgorde om. Hill nam de leiding over en hield daarna controle over het tempo, terwijl Schumacher zich tussen de twee Williams-auto’s nestelde. Prost noteerde later wel de snelste ronde van de race, maar kwam in de slotfase niet meer dichtbij genoeg om de derde plaats om te zetten in een aanval op de tweede positie.
