Tijdens de 24 uur van Le Mans in 2025 kwam TDS Racing uit met de Oreca 07 Gibson #29, ingeschreven in de LMP2 Pro/Am-klasse. Het team bracht een solide rijdersbezetting mee met Rodrigo Sales, Mathias Beche en Clément Novalak. De combinatie van ervaring, snelheid en stabiliteit was kenmerkend voor de inzet van het Franse team. De auto was uitgevoerd in het bekende blauw-rode kleurenschema en reed op Goodyear-banden.
De Oreca 07 is uitgerust met een atmosferische 4,2-liter V8-motor van Gibson, goed voor ongeveer 600 pk. Het chassis is opgebouwd uit koolstofvezel en ontworpen voor duurzaamheid in langeafstandsraces. De afstelling van de aerodynamica is gericht op stabiliteit bij hoge snelheden op het Circuit de la Sarthe. De #29 werd met precisie geprepareerd voor de specifieke eisen van de LMP2 Pro/Am-categorie, waar betrouwbaarheid doorslaggevend is.
Mathias Beche reed de kwalificatie en zette met een sterke ronde de poleposition neer binnen de Pro/Am-klasse. Rodrigo Sales, de bronzen rijder van het team, leverde stabiele stints af tijdens de nachturen. Novalak maakte indruk tijdens zijn Le Mans-debuut met constante rondetijden en foutloos stuurwerk. Dankzij de goede samenwerking en raceaanpak wist TDS Racing de race zonder grote problemen uit te rijden, met een nette klassering als resultaat.
Spark brengt de Oreca 07 #29 uit in schaal 1:43 als resin model. Een opvallend detail is de aanwezigheid van een rijderfiguur met de correcte helmkleuren, wat zorgt voor extra realisme. Het model is daarmee niet alleen interessant voor Le Mans-verzamelaars, maar ook voor liefhebbers van hedendaagse LMP2-prototypes. De levering staat gepland voor het vierde kwartaal van 2025.
Het model maakt deel uit van de Le Mans-collectie van Spark en is een herkenbare weergave van de inzet van TDS Racing tijdens de editie van 2025.
