De Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG GT3 #61 is een van de inzendingen in de LMGT3-klasse tijdens de 93e editie van de 24 Uur van Le Mans op 14–15 juni 2025. De auto is het product van Mercedes-AMG’s terugkeer in de FIA WEC-GT3-categorie na meer dan 25 jaar. Met een geavanceerde GT3-specificatie werd het chassis ontwikkeld volgens de nieuwste WEC-voorschriften.
Het rijderstrio bestaat uit Christian Ried, Maxime Martin en Lin Hodenius. Ried (geboren 24 februari 1979) is een ervaren WEC-coureur, actief sinds 2012 en recordhouder starts, dit seizoen terug op volle kracht. Maxime Martin (°20 maart 1986) is een Belgische factory-coureur met Le Mans-ervaring en GT-successen voor BMW en Aston Martin, nu Performance Driver bij Mercedes-AMG. Lin Hodenius (18 jaar, Nederland) komt over van single-seaters (Formula 4) en vormt de jongste aanwinst.
De auto werd tijdens het seizoen ingezet in de WEC, waaronder de 6 uur van Spa en Lusail, en maakte indruk met solide prestaties, ondanks concurrentie in de LMGT3. Bij Le Mans zette het trio een 42e kwalificatietijd neer en voltooide 337 ronden, als 44e over de finish, op 50 ronden van de winnaar van de klasse.
Spark Models brengt in het tweede kwartaal van 2026 een 1/43-model uit van deze #61 Mercedes-AMG GT3. Het gedetailleerde model weerspiegelt het exacte kleurenschema en design zoals in Le Mans 2025.
