Het Akkodis ASP Team start in juni 2025 met de #78 in de LMGT3-klasse van de 24Â Uur van Le Mans. Inzet is de Lexus RCÂ F LMGT3, bestuurd door Arnold Robin, Finn Gehrsitz en Jack Hawksworth. Hawksworth neemt het zitje tijdelijk over van Ben Barnicoat, die herstellende is van een mountainbike ongeval van maart 2025.
Arnold Robin (FRA) was in 2023 kampioen in de Michelin Le Mans Cup en maakte in 2024 zijn WEC-debuut bij Akkodis. Hij toonde sterke kwalificaties en behaalde in 2024 op Le Mans met de #78 een zevende plek in LMGT3. In 2025 keert hij sterker terug als vaste rijder.
Jack Hawksworth (GBR) is fabriekspiloot bij Lexus en stond in juni 2025 klaar als ‘super-sub’. Hij viel in voor Barnicoat en voegde zich bij Robin en Gehrsitz voor Le Mans. Hawksworth kent endurance-races goed en brengt race-ritme en ervaring in het team.
Finn Gehrsitz (GER, °2004) maakt zijn FIA WEC-debuut in 2025. Hij behaalde nationale successen en reed in 2024 in GT World Challenge Asia. Bij Spa-Franchorchamps behaalde hij pole in zijn klasse en bevestigt met zijn deelname aan Le Mans zijn snelle ontwikkeling.
Spark Models brengt in het tweede kwartaal van 2026 een resinmodel in schaal 1/43 van de Lexus #78 uit. De kit wil de officiële livery en rijderscombinatie realistisch weergeven. Voor verzamelaars vormt dit een feitelijke aanvulling op hun collectie, met aandacht voor de Le Mans-line-up van Akkodis ASP in 2025.
