United Autosports brengt voor de 24 Uur van Le Mans 2025 een McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo met startnummer 95 aan de start. De wagen, uitgerust met het bekende McLaren-papaya en zwart accent op de voorruit, wordt bemand door een trio dat al eerder indruk maakte in de FIA WEC-serie.
Darren Leung keert terug voor zijn tweede Le Mans-optreden in de LMGT3-klasse. De Hong-Kongse coureur kende een sterke WEC-campagne, met podiums en een zege. Voor Le Mans 2025 koos het team hem opnieuw als ervaren kracht achter het stuur.
Sean Gelael, afkomstig uit Indonesië, vormt samen met Leung en Sato een gebalanceerd duo van Silver-class-rijders. Gelael telt al twee Le Mans-podiums in LMGT3, behaalde vier WEC-overwinningen en meerdere topklasseringen, en reed in 2025 al stevig vooraan mee in Qatar en Imola.
Marino Sato, de Japanse snelheidsduivel, completeert de ploeg. Hij debuteerde in 2024 in WEC-GT3 en bevestigde zijn talent met enkele podiumplaatsen. Met United Autosports in de LMP2 was hij succesvol in ELMS, en dat succes wil hij nu in de GT3-configuratie verderzetten.
Spark Models komt de McLaren 720S van United Autosports #95 uitbrengen als 1/43-model, gepland in het tweede kwartaal van 2026.
