Tijdens het Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 werd de Aston Martin Valiant voor het eerst aan het publiek gepresenteerd, bestuurd door Fernando Alonso en Marek Reichman. Het evenement bood het perfecte decor voor deze exclusieve creatie van Aston Martin, die speciaal werd ontwikkeld als een eerbetoon aan pure rijdynamiek en Britse sportwagenhistorie.
De Valiant is gebaseerd op de Aston Martin Valour, maar is nog radicaler in uitvoering. Onder de motorkap ligt een 5,2-liter twin-turbo V12, gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde zesversnellingsbak. Het vermogen overstijgt 715 pk, waarbij de auto is ontdaan van alle overbodige luxe om maximaal circuitgevoel te bieden. De aerodynamische elementen, zoals de grote achterspoiler en de agressieve splitter, zijn volledig functioneel en geïnspireerd op racewagens uit het verleden.
Tijdens de heuvelklim van Goodwood maakte de Valiant indruk met zijn rauwe motorgeluid en directe stuurgedrag. Alonso liet zien dat het model niet alleen bedoeld is voor statische bewondering, maar ook daadwerkelijk op snelheid kan presteren. Het brute lijnenspel en de kenmerkende matgrijze lak trokken veel aandacht, zeker in combinatie met de bronzen accenten en centrale uitlaat.
