De Spark 1:43 schaaluitgave van de Porsche 911 GT3 R #96 van Rutronik Racing is gebaseerd op de deelname aan de 24 Uur van Spa 2024. De auto werd ingezet in de Pro-klasse en bestuurd door Julien Andlauer, Sven Müller en Patric Niederhauser. Rutronik Racing kwam in actie met een opvallende blauw-gele livery en was een van de belangrijkste Porsche-deelnemers in het sterk bezette veld.
De Porsche 911 GT3 R (type 992) werd aangedreven door een atmosferische 4,2-liter zescilinder boxermotor met circa 565 pk. Ondanks een crash vroeg in de wedstrijd en zware weersomstandigheden, wist het team zich terug te vechten naar een negende plaats algemeen. Daarmee was de #96 de hoogst geklasseerde Porsche in het eindklassement van deze editie.
Tijdens de nachtelijke uren van de race speelde regen een grote rol. Dankzij foutloze stints van alle drie de rijders en een strategische pitstopaanpak wist Rutronik Racing voortdurend terrein terug te winnen. De teamstructuur, technische voorbereiding en samenwerking tussen coureurs kwamen optimaal tot hun recht in de slotfase.
Spark heeft dit model in beperkte oplage geproduceerd, voorzien van authentieke details zoals sponsorlogo’s, de correcte startnummers en het kleurenschema van de Spa 2024-editie. De 1:43 uitvoering is bedoeld voor serieuze verzamelaars van hedendaagse GT3-wagens.
