Tijdens de 2024 editie van de 24 Uur van Spa-Francorchamps nam Rutronik Racing deel met de Porsche 911 GT3 R met startnummer 97. De wagen werd ingezet in de Bronze Cup van de GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup en viel op door zijn grijs-blauwe kleurstelling met Rutronik-signatuur. Deze editie van de race vond plaats onder afwisselende weersomstandigheden, wat de wedstrijd extra uitdagend maakte voor alle deelnemers.
De Porsche werd bestuurd door een internationaal rijderskwartet bestaande uit Dustin Blattner (Verenigde Staten), Dennis Marschall (Duitsland), Loek Hartog (Nederland) en Zacharie Robichon (Canada). De 911 GT3 R beschikte over een atmosferische 4,2-liter zescilinder boxermotor met een vermogen van ruim 500 pk. Dankzij een uitgebalanceerd chassis en verbeterde rembalans was de wagen ideaal voorbereid op het technische Spa-Francorchamps-circuit.
Gedurende de 24 uur wist het team constant te presteren. Ondanks nachtelijke regen en enkele neutralisaties bleef de #97 uit de problemen en voerde het team een foutloze strategie uit. De auto finishte uiteindelijk als vierde in de Bronze Cup-klasse, waarmee Rutronik Racing een solide resultaat behaalde tegenover andere klantenteams van Porsche.
Spark brengt dit model uit in schaal 1:43, nauwkeurig gebaseerd op de auto zoals die werd ingezet tijdens de race in juli 2024. Details zoals de sponsorstickers, lichtsignaalpanelen en classificatie-indicatie zijn exact nagebootst, waarmee dit model een waardevolle toevoeging vormt aan elke collectie gericht op GT3-racewagens.
