De Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 uit 2 Fast 2 Furious groeide uit tot een van de herkenbaarste Japanse sportwagens uit de filmwereld. De zilveren carrosserie met blauwe striping, grote achtervleugel en straatrace-uitstraling pasten precies bij het beeld van Brian O’Conner, gespeeld door Paul Walker. De auto was kort in beeld, maar liet genoeg indruk achter om een vaste plaats te krijgen in de autogeschiedenis van de jaren 2000.
Onder de motorkap lag de bekende RB26DETT, een 2,6 liter zes-in-lijn met dubbele turbo.
