De hier afgebeelde wagen is een rebuild nadat het origineel in een brand in 2012 ernstig beschadigd raakt. Voor de brand was de wagen door BMW nieuw afgeleverd aan Fritz Möller die er een aantal races op de Nürburgring mee heeft gereden. Hierna is de auto naar Japan gegaan waar de huidige livery op gebaseerd is, hetgeen goed te zien is aan de ADVAN en STP logo's. Na de restauratie heeft de wagen nog enkele keren deelgenomen aan de Peter Auto Series waar het een 2e plaats wist te behalen.
De wagen is herbouwd door BMW expert Tony Vink in the Netherlands en geveild via Silverstone Auctions.
