2024 BMW M3 Touring Performance Parts – Met de modelupdate die BMW eind mei 2024 presenteerde voor de M3-reeks, en die later in 2024 ook de M3 Touring (G81) bereikte, kwam er naast subtiele designwijzigingen extra aandacht voor personalisatie. In dezelfde periode introduceerde BMW de nieuwste generatie iDrive op basis van BMW Operating System 8.5, met bediening via het BMW Curved Display en meer nadruk op touch en spraak.
De M3 Competition Touring met M xDrive blijft daarbij de enige aandrijflijn: een 3,0-liter M TwinPower Turbo zes-in-lijn. BMW noemt voor deze versie 390 kW (530 pk), gekoppeld aan een 8-traps M Steptronic Sport-automaat en M xDrive met actief M differentieel. De fabrieksopgave voor 0–100 km/u bedraagt 3,6 s.
Voor de buitenkant richt het BMW M Performance-programma zich vooral op lichtgewicht CFRP-delen, zoals splitters, sideskirts, diffuser- en spoileroplossingen, aangevuld met specifieke striping en detailaccenten. Aan de wielzijde vallen de M Performance gesmede wielen met centrale wielmoer op, een configuratie die BMW als motorsport-geïnspireerd presenteert. Daarnaast zijn er technische upgrades, zoals een M Performance-uitlaatsysteem van titanium met carbon eindpijpen dat volgens BMW circa 7 kg lichter is dan de standaarduitlaat, en een in hoogte verstelbare M Performance schroefset die de auto 5 tot 20 mm lager kan zetten.
Ook in het interieur draait het om bediening en uitstraling, met onder meer stuurwielen met Alcantara- en carbonaccenten, schakelpaddles en afwerkingsdelen die binnen het M Performance-aanbod passen, naast praktische items zoals vloermatten. Zo kan een M3 Touring uit modeljaar 2024 visueel en functioneel dichter richting circuitgebruik worden gezet, terwijl de auto binnen het BMW-accessoireprogramma blijft.
