De Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E Performance met startnummer 44 nam in 2024 deel aan de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi op het Yas Marina Circuit. Deze uitvoering werd ingezet door het Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team en bestuurd door zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Lewis Hamilton. De race op 8 december 2024 was de afsluiter van het Formule 1-seizoen en markeerde het laatste optreden van Hamilton in dienst van Mercedes.

De W15 was uitgerust met een hybride 1.6-liter V6-motor met MGU-H en MGU-K, ontwikkeld door Mercedes High Performance Powertrains. Dankzij een verbeterd aerodynamisch pakket en een vernieuwde achterwielophanging kende het chassis een meer voorspelbare balans in langzame bochten. Voor de race in Abu Dhabi werd gekozen voor een set-up gericht op maximale tractie en efficiëntie op de rechte stukken van het circuit.

Tijdens de kwalificatie plaatste Hamilton zich in de middenmoot van de top 10. In de race wist hij dankzij een alternatieve strategie posities te winnen, maar een late safety car neutraliseerde een deel van het voordeel. Het eindresultaat was een zesde plaats, waarmee het seizoen formeel werd afgesloten.
