De moderne Porsche Renndienst ID. Buzz werd ontwikkeld ter gelegenheid van 75 jaar Porsche. De donkerrode kleur, de Porsche-logo's en de "Renndienst"-belettering verwijzen rechtstreeks naar de historische Volkswagen T1- en T2-servicewagens die Porsche gebruikte tijdens onder andere de Mille Miglia, Targa Florio en de 24 uur van Le Mans. De moderne uitvoering is volledig elektrisch en wordt gebruikt als promotie- en shuttlevoertuig.
