De Ferrari 296 GT3 met startnummer 45, ingezet door PONOS Racing in de GT300-klasse van het Super GT-seizoen 2025, wordt bestuurd door Kei Cozzolino en Takuro Shinohara. Tijdens de openingsronde op het Okayama International Circuit op 13 april 2025 kwalificeerde het duo zich als twaalfde en eindigde op de twaalfde plaats. In de tweede ronde op Fuji Speedway op 4 mei 2025 behaalde het team een zesde plaats, waarmee het team momenteel op de achtste plaats staat in het GT300-kampioenschap met 20 punten.
De Ferrari 296 GT3 is uitgerust met een 3,0-liter V6-turbomotor en beschikt over geavanceerde aerodynamica, waaronder een prominente achtervleugel en een geoptimaliseerde diffuser. Het chassis is vervaardigd uit koolstofvezelcomposiet, wat bijdraagt aan een laag gewicht en verhoogde stijfheid.
