De Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo #150 van Richard Mille AF Corse finishte als 40e algemeen en als achtste in de LMGT3-klasse tijdens de 24 uur van Le Mans 2026. Custodio Toledo, Lilou Wadoux en Riccardo Agostini brachten de auto aan de finish in een race waarin TF Sport met de Corvette #33 de klasse won.
De #150 was een van de vijf Ferrari’s 296 LMGT3 Evo op de startlijst. Daarmee was Ferrari het merk met de meeste auto’s in de LMGT3-klasse. De Evo-versie was de doorontwikkeling van de Ferrari 296 LMGT3, gebaseerd op de 296 GTB en voorzien van een 3,0 liter V6-biturbomotor. In LMGT3-specificatie reed de auto volgens het Balance of Performance-reglement, met Goodyear als vaste bandenleverancier voor de klasse.
Richard Mille AF Corse kwam naar Le Mans vanuit de European Le Mans Series. Het team had eerder in het seizoen een vijfde plaats behaald tijdens de 4 uur van Barcelona. Voor Lilou Wadoux was Le Mans 2026 haar vierde deelname aan de 24 uurs race. Zij deelde de auto opnieuw met de Braziliaan Custodio Toledo en de Italiaan Riccardo Agostini.
De race van de #150 draaide niet om een aanval op de klassezege, maar om een stabiele uitvoering over 24 uur. In een LMGT3-veld met Corvette, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG en Porsche bleef de Ferrari uit de groep uitvallers. De achtste plaats in de klasse leverde geen hoofdrol op, maar wel een volledige raceafstand tegen een breed GT3-veld.
Voor verzamelaars is de Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo #150 vooral interessant door de combinatie van AF Corse, de opvallende Richard Mille-inschrijving en de aanwezigheid van Wadoux. De auto hoort bij de eerste Le Mans-editie waarin de vernieuwde 296 LMGT3 Evo werd ingezet en geeft Ferrari’s brede aanwezigheid in de GT3-klasse van 2026 goed weer.
