Tijdens de sprintrace van de Grand Prix van China 2025 behaalde Lewis Hamilton zijn eerste officiële overwinning met de Ferrari SF-25. Vanaf poleposition in Shanghai leidde de Brit de wedstrijd van start tot finish. Hij hield Oscar Piastri in de McLaren op ruim zes seconden achterstand en ook Max Verstappen in de Red Bull kon geen bedreiging vormen. Voor Hamilton was het zijn eerste zege sinds de overstap naar Ferrari en de eerste keer dat de tifosi hun nieuwe kopman bovenaan zagen eindigen.
Hamilton gaf na afloop aan dat recente aanpassingen aan de SF-25 het verschil maakten. De auto reageerde beter op korte bochten en voelde wendbaarder aan.
