Chevrolet Camaro Yenko SYC uit 1969
De 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko SYC is een legendarische Amerikaanse muscle car die tot stand kwam dankzij de samenwerking tussen Chevrolet-dealer Don Yenko en de COPO-programma’s (Central Office Production Order) van General Motors. De Yenko Camaro SYC (Super Yenko Camaro) was een exclusieve en extreem krachtige uitvoering van de standaard Camaro SS.
Belangrijke kenmerken van de 1969 Yenko Camaro SYC:
- COPO 9561 V8-motor: Voorzien van een fabrieksgemonteerde 427 cubic inch (7.0-liter) V8-motor afkomstig uit de Corvette, goed voor 425 pk — ruim boven de reguliere Camaro-uitvoeringen.
- Yenko-uitrusting: De auto's werden voorzien van unieke SYC-badge, striping over de zijkanten en motorkap, aangepaste ophanging, grotere wielen en speciale tachometers en interieurdelen.
- Zeldzaamheid: Slechts 201 exemplaren van deze versie werden gebouwd, wat de Yenko Camaro tot een van de meest gezochte en waardevolle muscle cars maakt.
