Tijdens de Dakar Rally 2024 nam Toyota Gazoo Racing deel met de Toyota GR DKR Hilux met startnummer #209. Deze wagen werd bestuurd door de Zuid-Afrikaanse coureur Giniel de Villiers en zijn landgenoot en co-piloot Dennis Murphy.
