De Hyundai i20 N Rally1 #8 werd tijdens de Monte-Carlo Rally 2025 bestuurd door Ott Tänak en co-rijder Martin Järveoja. Dit duo rijdt voor het Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team en behoort tot de vaste topteams in het Wereldkampioenschap Rally (WRC). De Monte-Carlo Rally staat bekend om zijn wisselende omstandigheden met natte en besneeuwde wegen, wat hoge eisen stelt aan rijvaardigheid en strategie.
De i20 N Rally1 is een hybride Rally1-auto met een 1,6-liter turbomotor gecombineerd met een elektrische motor. Voor 2025 werd het model door Hyundai verder geoptimaliseerd, onder andere met verbeterde aerodynamica en een lichter chassis. Tijdens de Monte-Carlo Rally gebruikte het team de nieuwe Hankook banden, wat invloed had op het rijgedrag en de afstemming van de auto.
