Tijdens de 2025 Rally Islas Canarias op Gran Canaria verschenen Miguel Granados en Marc Martà aan de start met de Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 #56 in de RC2-klasse. Het evenement, onderdeel van het wereldkampioenschap rally’s (WRC2), voerde over achttien klassementsproeven en 301,30 km competitieve asfaltwegen.
Vanaf de eerste kilometers bleef het duo in een middenpositie binnen hun klasse, waarbij de Fabia door zijn wendbare karakter en efficiënt verbruik van banden duidelijk voordeel toonde op de smalle en technische bergwegen. Toch verloor de #56 in de loop van de rally tijd door enkele secties met verminderde grip en moest het team in totaal circa 25 minuten inleveren ten opzichte van de klassewinnaar.
Uiteindelijk kwam Granados / Martà over de finish op een tijd van 3:19:58,8, waarmee zij de 33e plaats in de RC2-klasse innamen. Hoewel geen podium werd behaald, toonde de inzet consistentie in afzienlijke omstandigheden en benadrukte het team de betrouwbaarheid en het potentieel van de Fabia-constructie op internationaal asfaltniveau.
Voor Granados en Martà vormt deze deelname aan de Rally Islas Canarias 2025 een maatstaf binnen hun rallycarrière, en voor de Fabia RS Rally2-lijn een bevestiging dat het platform ook in zwaar competitieve buitenlandse rondes een solide basis levert.
