De BMW M2 Khyzyl Saleem 2025 is geen gewone fabrieks-BMW, maar een ontwerpstudie waarin de huidige G87 M2 een andere richting krijgt. Khyzyl Saleem, ook bekend als The Kyza, gaf de compacte M-auto een koetswerk dat duidelijk verwijst naar de BMW 2002 Hommage Concept uit 2016. Het resultaat is herkenbaar als M2, maar met bredere lijnen, een lager visueel zwaartepunt en een veel uitgesprokener carrosserie.
De basis ligt bij de moderne BMW M2, een achterwielaangedreven coupé met een 3,0 liter zescilinder lijnmotor met dubbele turbo. In Saleems interpretatie draait het vooral om vorm en houding: brede wielkasten, een gespierde neus en een strakker profiel geven de auto de uitstraling van een moderne coachbuilt sportcoupé. De blauwe kleur past goed bij het BMW-karakter en laat de scherpe overgangen in de carrosserie duidelijk zien.
Bijzonder aan deze M2-KS is dat het project oorspronkelijk digitaal werd ontwikkeld. Saleem staat bekend om ontwerpen waarin tuningcultuur, klassieke autosport en moderne performance-auto’s samenkomen. Deze M2 volgt die lijn: geen subtiele facelift, maar een complete herinterpretatie van een auto die al vanaf de fabriek vrij uitgesproken is.
