De Aston Martin Vanquish Volante 2025 brengt de klassieke open Britse grand tourer terug in een moderne vorm. In Morpheus Blue krijgt de lage carrosserie een rustige, diepe kleur die goed past bij het karakter van de auto: elegant, maar duidelijk gebouwd rond prestaties.
Voorin ligt een 5,2 liter V12 met twee turbo’s, goed voor 835 pk en 1.000 Nm koppel. De kracht gaat via een achttraps automaat naar de achterwielen. Daarmee sprint de Vanquish Volante in ongeveer 3,4 seconden naar 100 km/u en haalt hij een topsnelheid van 345 km/u.
Ondanks die cijfers blijft de Volante vooral een super-GT. Het stoffen dak, de lange motorkap en de tweezits indeling geven de auto een duidelijke reisauto-uitstraling. Aston Martin combineert carbon carrosseriedelen, moderne infotainmenttechniek en een interieur waarin leer en aluminium de boventoon voeren.
De Vanquish Volante in Morpheus Blue is daarmee geen harde circuitauto, maar een open V12 voor lange afstanden. Een auto die snelheid niet hoeft te bewijzen met scherpe lijnen alleen, maar vooral met balans, geluid en de ontspannen manier waarop hij zijn vermogen inzet.
