De Range Rover Sport P510e Autobiography uit 2022 liet zien hoe ver de luxueuze terreinwagen zich had ontwikkeld. De derde generatie kreeg een strakker koetswerk, kortere overhangen en een rustiger lijnenspel dan zijn voorganger. In Giola Green komt dat karakter goed naar voren: ingetogen, maar duidelijk herkenbaar als een Range Rover.
Onder de motorkap ligt een 3,0 liter zes-in-lijn benzinemotor, gekoppeld aan een elektromotor. Samen leveren ze 510 pk en 700 Nm koppel. De plug-in hybride aandrijflijn stuurt zijn vermogen via een achttraps automaat naar alle vier de wielen. Daarmee combineert de P510e stille elektrische kilometers met de trekkracht die bij een grote Range Rover hoort.
De Autobiography-uitvoering richt zich op comfort en afwerking. Luchtvering, een ruim interieur, hoogwaardige bekleding en een digitale cockpit maken de auto meer reiswagen dan pure SUV. Toch blijft de Range Rover Sport trouw aan zijn afkomst, met vierwielaandrijving en terreinvaardigheid die verder gaat dan het hoge trottoir in de stad.
Als model uit 2022 markeert de P510e een belangrijk moment in de geschiedenis van Range Rover. De auto verbindt traditionele Britse luxe met elektrificatie, zonder het grote reisauto-karakter los te laten. In Giola Green krijgt deze uitvoering bovendien precies de rustige uitstraling die goed past bij het Autobiography-label.
