De editie van de Le Mans 24 Hours 1977 bracht een breed veld in de Grand Touring-klasse. Daarin verscheen de #57, een Porsche 934 ingezet door het Luxemburgse entrant Nicolas Koob met Belgisch technische steun van tuner Jean-Pierre Gaban. De auto startte in de GT-divisie op het Circuit de la Sarthe op 11 en 12 juni 1977. De bemanning bestond uit Willy Braillard, Guillermo Ortega en Nicolas Koob. Op de officiële entrylist werd ook Alain de Dryver vermeld. De inschrijving stond als Porsche 934 op basis van de 911 Turbo volgens de Groep 4-homologatie.

Technisch gebruikte de #57 de 930/71 boxermotor. Dat is een 2993 cc zescilinder met enkele turbo en mechanische inspuiting. De motor lag achterin en dreef de achterwielen aan via een handgeschakelde transmissie. Het chassisnummer van de auto was 930 670 0153. De 934 was de Groep 4-versie van de 911 Turbo met verstevigd chassis en eisen aan productie-aantallen. Aerodynamica en remkoeling volgden de homologatie.
