De Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) met startnummer 7 waarmee Miguel Paludo in 2025 de Porsche Carrera Cup Brasil-titel pakte, kwam uit in een seizoen dat liep van 22-03-2025 (Velo Città ) tot 22-11-2025 (Interlagos). De beslissing viel in de slotfase op Interlagos, waar Paludo de titel in de Carrera veiligstelde in een race die tot op de finishlijn open bleef door de directe strijd met Christian Hahn.
De auto is de 992-generatie Cup-auto met een 4,0-liter atmosferische zescilinder boxer (3996 cc), goed voor 510 pk bij hoge toerentallen. In de praktijk draait het pakket om constante mechanische grip en remstabiliteit, met een setup die op circuits als Interlagos vooral gericht is op tractie uit langzame bochten en controle bij het aanremmen. In 2025 reed Paludo de #7 in een herkenbare uitvoering met BRANDT als terugkerende hoofdsponsor, een combinatie die al langer aan zijn Cup-programma verbonden is.
De titelrace kreeg zijn beslissende wending in de finale op Interlagos op 09-11-2025. Marçal Müller won de wedstrijd, Paludo finishte als tweede, en Hahn viel in de slotronde stil na een moment bij de Subida do Café. Daardoor werd het kampioenschap in de laatste meters beslist, precies het soort scenario waarin positie, risico’s inschatten en de auto heel houden zwaarder wegen dan één snelle ronde.
Voor de #7 betekende dat een kampioenschapsverhaal dat niet om dominantie draaide, maar om het benutten van kansen en het minimaliseren van fouten over een lang seizoen. De 911 GT3 Cup (992) liet daarbij zien waarom hij in merkencups zo effectief is: een auto die hard kan, maar vooral beloont wie over meerdere weekenden dezelfde basiskwaliteit levert.
